I hooked my ipod up to a different computers itunes than i usually do, and it automatically synced it, and all of my old memory got deleted. Is there any way to retrieve that memory, or do i have to manually put all the music back in there?

I am upgrading to a new phone this weekend and I don't want to lose my pics and text. I have over 250 pics and over 100 text messages in my phone. I know I can e-mail them to my e-mail address and save them to my computer BUT that would take forever! That will be my last resort. I don't have a memory card so I can't do it that way.
have advice on how I can do this quicker than individually e-mailing them to my yahoo account? Thank you so much!

I was told that if I turn off my computer whenever I'm not using it, it'll last longer..by one person.then I was told by another person that if I do this, it'll waste my memory and actually make my computer get problems sooner. So which is right?.What I've been doing since I bought it is just close the browser leave the computer on.letting it go into sleep mode on it's own.thanx.DreO well, what I'm doing is: when I get off my computer, I leave it on.a few hours later, the screen's black..when I move the mouse, it comes on again..idk if that's “sleep” or what.also, see what I mean?..some ppl are saying to turn it off, while some are saying leave it on..both make sense to me
.what I do notice though, is for instance, when I came home from Thanksgiving dinner, (about 9 hrs), my comp.
a little slow the pages would freeze.so I turned it off (via start menu, shutdown) waited 10 seconds, then turned it back on all was fine again
.I have DSL my comp's a 2006 Dell with very little self downloads (only pictures)
