First I'm just looking for a simple computer to do school work internet, play and copy DVD and CDs. I'm not in to gaming or anything else. I’m trying to get the best for a low price.
HP, Dell, Toshiba, and Gateway. I've called Dell and been to Best Buy, CompUSA, Radio Shack, and Circuit City.
are the brands I’ve been shown and all including warranty average about $1100. Also as far as the internet goes they all have a built in wireless card.
for home they tell me I’m going to need a router.
I install myself to Roadrunner? The sales men tell me its best to let them do it I’m not too familiar with computers and if I don’t do it right my neighbors can use my internet signal and even steal my passwords and stuff. Is that true? They want to install on average $150 to $200.

Dell Computer is a company that has traditionally used one fairly simple supply chain system–direct sales over the internet or by phone to both business and consumer users. In planning for the future, Dell has begun experimenting with making use of other distribution channels and outlets.
are already using diosks at major airports to demonstrate and sell products. Yet, in considering expanding their channels they certainly don't want to negatively impact the backbone of their supply chain process–the direct channel.
Dell successfully coexist in retail store distribution and in distribution through their traditional direct means?

I have 2 interviews COMING UP Next Week! I need one of them because due to some family problems I lost my sales job and my car is going into reposession soon and my Insurance will be cancelled if i dn't pay Them close to 400 dollars by next week One of my Interview is as a Field Technician . The other is as a Personal Banker at a bank located near my apartment.
It's the Field technician Position I am nost scared about because due to fear of losing my car and not having a job I exaggerated on my resume and Wrote the following experiences.. • Read and interpreted mechanical, optical, and electric specifications. Achieved exceptional accuracy with using multi-meters, digital oscilloscopes, DVM and function generators • Achieved promotion within one year to supervise and train team members as necessary Now ofcource first 2 points are really easy for me since I learned them in my lab at college I graduated with electrical and computer engineering degree .. [The job requires for me to travel to peoples houses and fix their stuff All i know like it says on my “experience section is read electric specifications kno how to use multi meters oscilloscopes, Function generators and so on But I got no clue How much more or how much deeper of an expereience the Employer requires from me Am i worrying too much I really need this job ] But i am really getting tensed now because I really want this job and I am not sure what kind of questions he might ask me when I get to the interview .. What do you think ?

I saw a real nice computer for a very cheap price on craigslist (about 1/2 or 1/3 ebay price) and asked if it was still available, recieved an email few days later: Hi, You should know that this is a scripted email. I received numerous emails regarding this computer and I will send this for all of you. I will try answering to all the questions asked.
of all, the computer is still available for sale. Second, this desktop is just like new, I used it only a few times to see how it works and I have to tell you that it's a great machine.
do not ask me to call you. I should stay all day long at the phone if it were to call you all. I arranged to be shipped to who may be the buyer because I'm out of country. I left it with DHL (DHL is a shipping company ww.dhl.com/dhl.express.swansea.depot/third_party_service.html). I hope we'll be able to reach an agreement. Waiting for your email. I'm not interested in a trade and I don't ship to NIGERIA! Cheers, David
