My son Cecil arrived home from school last week, with a sponsor form, asking me to support cancer. Anyway, naturally I rummaged through my maids personal belongings and donated twenty pounds, as it's for a worthy cause. However, an hour later, I was whiling away on the computer and decided, I really could do with another games room for the manor.
the next few days I set up a sponsored run, which covered a distance of eighteen miles. So I strapped my manservant to a cart, sat in the back, got nice and comfy with some jam tarts and a bottle of gin, then allowed the fellow to pull me the whole distance.
halfway through nine miles) he began to complain, that he felt his lungs were bleeding and he couldn't go on, but through gritty determination and 'threats of violence' we made it. However, I only raised £34.60 for all my efforts.
did I go wrong? To the avatar Kat.
I thank you for your time, You do have the option of listening to someone else's drivel.
a thought.
Kat. do you not mean a waste of time)? Jon C..That is the point I'm making, why not more money for worthy causes, as it seems to be the same amount of money for unworthy causes.

Recently he told me he was Gay and now meets alot of gay friends on the internet and I have tried to support him and let him have his friends over. I have been a friend to him and tried to talk to him. He wont talk to anyone and he seems depressed. I am angry that he thinks he can just leave and do what he wants. He is very cleaver academically and I enrolled him in a computer course after school but found he was bunking school and the course to hang out with his mates. He promised he would quit school and do the course full time but I know he wont go. I have asked the Police youth aid officer what can I do and they said I have to accept he is 16 in Jan and is legal for sex and I cant really do anything but let him go and hope he comes to his senses.
me please I dont want to loose him and know the friends he has been meeting are not good role models for an intelligent young man.

My parents bought a 1.2Ghz Celeron Compaq 5310US back in 2001, and it can't be upgraded (CPU, Memory, Video Card). It is as far as it can go with RAM and a video card. I want something better, but the problem is I'm in college and I don't have the cash to buy a brand new computer. I did a lot of research and found that the case supports mATX mobo's and I'm thinking about getting one that supports a Core Duo 2.6 Ghz.
upgrade also requires a new power supply, new memory and new hard-drives since the old stuff is incompatible with such the newer motherboard. I found all the parts needed for the upgrade and as far as I can tell they will fit on the case.
everything mentioned above is going to cost $460 ($415 with rebates). My question then: is this a good way to go? Or should I try to save a little more and completely build a new pc? If any of you have upgraded major components in brand Pcs I would love if you could share how difficult it was for such modifications. I should have mentioned more details about the upgrade. Currently: 1.2 Ghz Celeron 512 Mb of RAM GeForce 4 Ti 4200 2 80 Gb Hardrives Windows XP Pro With upgrade: 2.6 GHz Core Duo 2 Gbs of DDR2 RAM 500W PS enough to handle a future 8800GT 1 160 Gb Hard-drive for now Windows Vista Business Edition The motherboard can handle future upgrades to Intel's new Quad Core processors and it can be upgraded to 4 Gb of RAM

Fanboys, leave before you read this, I'm trying to make a point, I don't bias toward either side. Do you take it is a turn off that the PS3 advertises its media capabilities in light of its lack of gaming and online multiplayer abilities compared to the 360? I really don't care if it has built in Wi-Fi, serious gamers plug it in, since Wi-Fi can't reach speeds that an ethernet cable can.
graphics are great, and the processors are better on the PS3, but why is the multiplayer so lacking, and how can a 360 support multiple players online at once, and a PS3 can't? I don't care about putting music on my PS3, because I could just plug in my iPod and play it WHILE playing a game on a 360. I also don't see the need in putting pictures on my PS3.. I don't want another computer.
sticks? Bluetooth? Why all this advanced technology, and still not hitting home? I want a gaming system! So what's the big deal with all this?!

How do I setup a Belkin Wireless G Plus MIMO Router to a DSL modem that is connected to the computer through a USB connection rather than an Ethernet connection? I followed the instructions step by step, and now have an Ethernet connection between the modem and the computer, but the modem still will not work correctly. I called tech support, but they were no help:( If this makes sense to anyone can you PLEASE help me?? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

” Q: WHAT MEMORY GOES INTO MY COMPUTER? A: DDR memory with support for DDR PC2700, DDR PC3200, DDR PC4000 speeds. Because DDR memory is backward-compatible, you can safely upgrade your system with any of the guaranteed-compatible DDR speeds listed above, even if your manual calls for PC1600 or PC2100 speeds. ” is this basically saying that any of the 3 speeds above are compatable for my pc?? So, which one of these would give me the best speed

Sorry. I was bored, so I decided to read people's profiles. I was just wondering how the heck you manage to have time for a life, a job and posting Q As on here. I only know two people who play World of Warcraft and IT CONSUMES THEIR ENTIRE LIVES.
seriously, my cousin he doesn't even eat dinner with the rest of his family. He has a bunch of non-perishables stashed in his room under his computer desk.
can YOU not be addicted like that? Is there a patch? Should I get my cousin to join a support group? TELL ME YOUR SECRET.
is with that game? I mean. it's nice and all.
the ogre women things are creepy. especially when my cousin commands them to dance.
grind.
Anyway. I thought the Water Sports section was bad.
Canadian Football only has like 5 Q's in it right now.
we should get some of the Candian folks from the hockey section to ask a few CFL Q's here for you to answer.
know, liven the place up a bit.
Yeah, you're lucky. I am the only regular in the WS section and there are so many spammers. At the most there are usually about 7-10 legit Qs at a time and the rest are all spam or some idiot asking about porn. :S
