Is sharing encrypted wifi safe?
I'm curious. on occasion, I have class groupwork over to my place and I give them my network key to get online. If my wifi network is at 64-bit encryptn and they are on it, can they potentially hack into my files or use some sniffer software to get my username and password info while I'm checking my emails? I know what people are saying about using open networks but what if the network is encrypted.
the same risks apply or does the encryption prevents “hacking”. -Thanks
