We all have our reasons and there is alot of natural/non-natural things which are considered taboo in public, if its so important to you then do it in the privacy of your home. You have as much right to slap your breasts out in public as I do to urinate on a shop window mid-day.

The title of this is breast feeding ETIQUETTE, I won't insult your intelligence by pasting a definition of the word. Super8mm68 assumed this was intended to hide the breast feeding as to not offend anyone. He had every right to assume this because it has the word etiquette is right up there in the title, and he repeated it in his comment. No reason to criticize him/her.

Well some women want to get out of their house with their babies without exposing their tits to the world. Live with it. -_- Even if it is natural and of course there's nothing to be ashamed of, I don't want to show my boobs to the world when I have children. Men don't want around with their things hanging out neither do they expose them just because it's a natural part of them. And not all women are conformable with showing their breasts.
