I agree, i don't think they could be improving solely because they've used polyrythms before.

haake is better for meshuggah though hes more metal...this is jazz with a distorted guitar

there is alot of morgan agren and fredrik on "Fredrick thordendals special defects" and the drummer is actually from a jazz fusion band called, mats and morgan, but he plays on freds solo album, and by the way, this song has nothing to do with meshuggah accept polyrythms and the fact that freds in meshuggah, the drummer is way better than haake though, much more practice, morgan has been playing since he was a kid with frank zappa

-> o5k4r, 1) this is not meshuggah, just their guitarist and drummer from some other band 2) even though, yes, they use polyrhythms here, but what exactly does it have to do with ability of improvising?
