They like to mix it up - if you manage to listen to a few of their albums they've collaborated with lots of people, this is the singer from Everything But The Girl. Their music changed as members of the band DJ'd, or set out on their own, e.g. Tricky. Good that a band/group surprises you, otherwise there's no point keeping buying their albums. I think you'd agree.
