Comparing Herman Li to Piet Sielck is like comparing a dragracer to a nascar or formula one racer. Herman Li's just there for pure speed; he has very little sense of melody, and most of his solos are carbon copies of each other. Piet Sielck makes no claim to being the fastest guitarist, but he is damn fast, but the key element of his solos is their very lyrical quality. He sings through his guitar solos, and he stresses melody heavily. Apples and oranges, fellows.

intindse: I realize that everyone has their own opinion, but for me, Dragonforce's solos are all speed and no melody. Don't get me wrong, they are more significantly more difficult to play than this one, but they're just lacking in substance. Despite the fact that Piet Sielck isn't as fast as Herman Li, he's a better musician (composer) overall. That's just my opinion, of course.

uhhh I think everyone's heard of dragonforce I doubt someone can know this band without hearing of Dragonforce. They're like the Children of Bodom of Power Metal

Best guitar solo EVER! That begs the question though, why did you credit Piet as "rhythm guitar" when he was the one that played the solo? Anyway, thanks for the upload. This is such a brilliant song, mostly because it shows how a song can be heavy without tuning your guitar down half an octave.
