Perhaps some day, every kitchen will have a supply of liquid nitrogen as a standard bit of kitchenry. Hey, there was a time when nobody had a microwave oven.

Did you ever make a cake from scratch? Or grill a steak on the old Weber? Why not just go to Steak & Ale, and have somebody else do it for you? Because sometimes, it's nice to do something yourself. To be a little creative. To bake your own bread, or make your own ice cream.

1. Nitrogen is not toxic. If it was, we'd be dead, for the atmosphere is 78% nitrogen. 2. Any nitrogen left over would evaporate into the atmosphere. 3. Salmonella bacteria would die after being exposed to subzero temperatures.

It's -297.4 degrees. Liquid Nitrogen is colder than that: -320 degrees. The metal bowl the LN goes into is conductive, so it's definitely possible that the bowl (or at least the air right next to the LN) will chill down to -297.4 degrees, condensing liquid oxygen right from the outside air and onto the bowl.

hey wanna know something how about you dont waste so much freakin money on LN and just take like 10 mins and go buy a freakin gallon of you choice and btw that wasnt 5 mins it was sped up ALOT

That's true - the reason why is because the liquid nitrogen can run down your hand and the folds of the glove can keep it close to your skin, causing damage. I did it anyway.
