Watch Part 2, Making Videos with Windows Movie Maker: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CcVhULKLyWg HyperCam 2 FAQ: Is HyperCam safe to download and install? Yes. HyperCam is 100% virus and spyware free. Help! I'm trying to install HyperCam but it has problems while extracting! What should I do? According to HyperIonics, if you have spyware on your computer the spyware can sometimes attach itself to HyperCam and cause it to not function. You should run a virus and spyware scan, remove any threats, download HyperCam again and try again. What does the compression quality do? Compression quality basically tells you how the quality of the video will be. The higher your compression quality, the better quality the video. For the most part, try setting the compression quality to 85% or higher. If you experience severe or moderate lag, reduce the compression quality more and try again. Can you change the hotkeys? Yes, simply click on the hotkey you wish to change and change the key as desired. Where can I download HyperCam 2 and do I need to pay anything? You can download HyperCam 2 here: http://www.hyperionics.com/hc/ You do not need to purchase HyperCam 2 to use it. As far as I know, the only benefit to purchasing the program is it removes the "Unregistered HyperCam 2" notice on the top left of the screen. There are ways to get the program free, but I shall not discuss them. After I record a video the screen is sometimes black and I can only see the mouse moving. What's wrong? I have contacted HyperIonics regarding this problem and they said to check out this link: http://www.hyperionics.com/hc/faqs.asp#PlayOverlay I can't say that this will correct your problem for sure but try reading "How to re-record.." etc and everything below it to see if it corrects your problem. If this does not correct your issue, then I'm sorry but I simply have no idea why this happens to some people. Turning Hardware Acceleration down FAQ: Are you sure it's safe to do this? Why will my screen go black? Yes, I've done this dozens of times and I sometimes do it just to reduce lag. It is 100% safe. Your screen turns black because Windows is adjusting to the new settings, just as it turns black when you change the screen resolution. Why do I need to do this? You don't *need* to do this, I just highly recommend it as it reduces lag greatly. For example, with Hardware Acceleration turned all the way up I can't even record a video at 60% compression quality because of the lag. With it turned off, I can jack the quality up to 90% and record with minimal lag. I'm not using Windows XP, Help!!! If you are using Windows, check out this link: http://pptfaq.com/FAQ00129.htm If you are running on a MAC...I'm sorry, I don't know :P Try looking it up :D
