Socialism sounds nice but it is nothing but black hearted totalitarianism. George Bernard Shaw, one of the early leaders of the Fabian Socialist movement, said this: "Under Socialism, you would not be allowed to be poor. You would be forcibly fed, clothed, lodged, taught, and employed whether you liked it or not. If it were discovered that you had not character and industry enough to be worth all this trouble, you might possibly be executed in a kindly manner; but whilst you were permitted to live, you would have to live well." So you see...all of this talk about "helping people" and "stopping world poverty" is a bunch of bull. The taxes I will pay for Barack Obama to "heal the world" will simply be put in the hands of petty dictators and irresponsible socialist governments. Most of the people will NEVER reap the benefits from it, all while the corrupt leaders of said Third-World countries get richer. SOCIALISM....no matter what package it comes in, and no matter how nice it sounds, DOESN'T WORK!
